Tom Jakob is a photojournalist based in New York City. These photos were taken over the course of 2022 and seek to capture a city that is forever overflowing with beauty and desolation. Some of the images were shot on film while others are digital prints. The title takes its name from a Simon and Garfunkel lyric.
